Mentors share morethan experience

part of their fee, too

Every United Mentors mentor can direct part of their fee to a charitable foundation. Here we show how much has been collected and where it went — with scans of the payment orders.

The programme is getting ready to launch. As soon as the first transfer goes through, the amounts and payment orders will appear here.

How it works

Nothing complicated and nothing taken on trust: the share is chosen by the mentor, withheld automatically and confirmed by a document.

01

The mentor picks a share

In their profile the mentor chooses how much of their fee goes to a foundation: 5, 10, 15 percent or the whole amount. Taking part is voluntary, and the share can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

02

We withhold it at payment

When a client pays for mentorship, we calculate the share of the mentor's fee and set it aside. The price for the client does not change — it is the same for mentors who take part and those who do not.

03

We transfer once a month

Everything accumulated over the month goes to the foundation in a single payment. Small transfers get eaten by fees, so we collect and send them together.

04

We publish the payment order

Every transfer appears on this page together with a scan of the payment order. Everything can be verified — otherwise a programme like this makes no sense.

Who we help

The foundations were chosen for their transparency: each publishes annual accounts and verifiable details. The mentor decides which of them receives their share.

Transfer report

The full list of payments to foundations. Each one comes with a payment order that you can open and check.

There have been no transfers yet. The first will go out at the end of the month in which a participating mentor receives their first payment — and will appear in this table straight away.

What matters to understand

This is the mentor's money, not a markup

The donation is withheld from the mentor's fee at their own instruction. The client pays exactly what they would pay without the programme.

The mentor does not pay tax out of pocket

The share is calculated on the fee after the tax reserve: we always leave the mentor the amount needed to pay their tax. Even at a “whole fee” share they never go negative.

The service fee is not involved

We do not take charity money out of our own commission, and we do not reduce payouts to mentors who are not in the programme.

A refund cancels the accrual

If a client is refunded before the money has gone to the foundation, the accrual is cancelled. Only what was actually transferred appears in the report.

Are you a mentor who wants to take part?

Tick the option in your profile — the share and the foundation can be changed at any time, with no commitment for the future.
